I recently purchased my first pair of Hurley boardshorts after being faithful to another brand for many years. My reason for buying Hurley boardshorts was merely due to the fact that they were on sale really cheap and they looked pretty cool. I had no idea of the technology behind Hurley boardshorts or even what models were available. The model I happened to buy were the Hurley Phantom 60. The first thing I liked about these boardshorts was the length, as they sat perfectly above my knee and also the size was true.

My first surf in the Hurley Phantom’s was a dream in every way from comfort to flexibility they just felt right. I gave the shorts a beating in Indonesia surfing in them every day for a month and they are still going strong with no rips or holes. Another surprise about these boardshorts is the lack of ball rash I tend to receive compared to other boardshort brands. They are fabricated with Hurley’s proven Phantom 60 4-way stretchable and quick-drying fabric design (whatever that is?) Either way I’m stoked on them and I would recommend them to anyone. Good job Hurley!
